Our Youth Mental Health First Aider training is tailor made for people who work with and support young people.
Delivered by a former SENDCo and school Mental Health Coordinator, our training packages will equip you and your team with the skills they need to support the mental health of young people.

First Aider
Delivery:
2 day course, delivered over 2 days, or 4 half-day sessions, in person or online.
Content:
An in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing.
Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.
Confidence to reassure and support a young person in distress.
Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgmental listening.
Knowledge to help a young person recover their health by guiding them to further support.
Ability to support a young person with a long term mental health issue or disability to thrive.
Tools to look after your ownmental wellbeing.

Just sign up! No pre-requisites required. The Youth or Adult Mental Health First Aider course will take you from having no experience to being a full qualified Mental Health First Aider.
The courses take multiple formats and can vary depending on your requirements. They can either be:
> Four afternoons
> Four evenings
> Four mornings
> Two full days
You'll see all the options in the booking form above, just find the one that works best for you!
You will receive certification from Mental Health First Aid England enabling you to be a Mental Health First Aider. This certification lasts for three years before needing renewal.
